How many construction dryers do I have to rent in order to be able to dry the room optimally?
In order to be able to perfectly coordinate the construction dryer requirement, a number of factors are important. First of all, the size of the room to be dried in m³ is important. Then the existing insulation of the room and the degree of moisture penetration play a role, as does the current room temperature. We will be happy to calculate the exact requirements for your room drying before you rent it. We also recommend an accompanying moisture measurement during the drying process. The right building moisture measuring device can also be rented.
How long does it take to dry the building?
If the needs assessment is correctly calculated and tailored to the conditions to be dried, room drying can and should be completed within a short time of 2-3 weeks. The drying time is longer if the drying water has stood for a longer period of time and the building materials can be soaked through.
Example drying time of freshly laid screed: When laying a screed, approx. 200 ltr . / per m³ of surface area. With a recommended screed thickness of 6 cm , the normal drying time is 8 weeks (plus a rest period) until the flooring is ready for covering. Using construction dryers can shorten this time by up to 50%, significantly reducing the overall construction time. This means the surface covering can be installed more quickly!
