Apprenticeship as a wholesale and foreign trade clerk, specializing in wholesale
Are you interested in international markets and love organizing and communicating? As a merchant in wholesale and foreign trade (specializing in wholesale), you will take on an exciting role with us: You will be responsible for the exchange of goods and services in import transactions and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
You monitor the procurement market, find the best sources and obtain offers. After you have purchased the goods, you check invoices and delivery documents, calculate prices for resale and make sure that everything is correct. In doing so, you have interesting discussions with suppliers and customers - in purchasing, consulting and sales.
Your tasks also include keeping an eye on cost accounting, dealing with complaints and developing creative marketing measures. In short: you are a real all-rounder who actively contributes to the success of the company!
These are your tasks with us:
- As part of this three-year training course for wholesale and foreign trade management (m/f/d), we will provide you with in-depth knowledge and skills in the sales and purchasing of our products and services. In this way, we will prepare you purposefully for a responsible role in our company.
- Your daily work includes the purchase and sale of materials and the logistical planning of the flow of goods.
- In direct contact with our customers, you inquire about their needs, calculate offers and submit solution suggestions based on our range of services.
- You coordinate the collaboration with various partners inside and outside our company.
- In addition, you will gain knowledge in the areas of procurement, accounting, finance, administration/organization, purchasing/scheduling and inventory.
- You have the opportunity to develop yourself individually through internal workshops (IT training, tours, product knowledge) and product training.
Training as a specialist warehouse clerk
Do you have a good eye for details and an interest in logistics processes? As a warehouse specialist, you will play an important role in goods logistics. You will receive deliveries, check carefully whether the type, quantity and condition of the goods are correct and ensure that everything goes to the right place. With the help of modern IT, you will record the goods, unpack them and store them safely and properly.
You ensure that the goods are stored under the best conditions and always keep an overview of the inventory. You carry out inventories at regular intervals to ensure that everything is recorded correctly.
When it comes to shipping, you pack the goods carefully, fill out the accompanying documents and put together the right delivery units. You load trucks, label and secure the shipments - always observing important regulations, such as the Dangerous Goods Ordinance. You use transport equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks to move the goods safely and efficiently.
In short: As a warehouse specialist, you are an important part of our team and ensure that the goods always arrive at the right place on time and in perfect condition!
These are your tasks with us:
- During your training, you will learn about the process and the individual steps of the logistics chain, such as the incoming and outgoing goods processes. This will give you a comprehensive overview of the material flow in a large company.
- You carry out inventory checks and check goods and deliveries for type, condition and quantity.
- You carry out all tasks independently, taking into account the operational context, work processes and impacts on other functional areas.
- Together with your colleagues on site, you will help to optimize the warehouse and logistics processes.
- You have the opportunity to develop yourself individually through internal workshops (IT training, tours, product knowledge) and product training.
Training for E-Commerce Merchants
Do you have a passion for online trading and want to get started in a growing area? As a merchant in e-commerce, you will take on an exciting and varied task with us: You will take care of the planning, implementation and administration of online sales and actively contribute to the success of our e-commerce area.
You are responsible for maintaining and optimizing our online shop systems, taking care of product presentation and ensuring that all information is always up-to-date and appealing to customers. You analyze sales figures, identify trends and help develop marketing strategies to increase our reach and sales.
In addition, you will process customer inquiries, take care of orders and ensure that deliveries run smoothly. You will work with various e-commerce platforms, manage inventory and support the design of online advertising, social media and other digital channels.
As a merchant in e-commerce, you are a real expert in the digital world and ensure that our online business is constantly growing and our customers always have a great shopping experience!
These are your tasks with us:
- In your training as a merchant in e-commerce (m/f/d) you will learn what is important in online mail order
- You define target groups, evaluate user behavior and work with us to improve the user-friendliness of our online shop
- We will show you how to present new products to our customers in the online shop in an appealing way and manage them successfully
- You actively support us with marketing campaigns, processing customer inquiries and implementing projects in the online shop
- You will be involved in the initiation and processing of online goods and service contracts
