Fermacell™ Bonded Fill T

Bulk heights from 10 mm possible

James Hardie's new fermacell™ Bonded Fill T offers a wide range of applications.

When conventional leveling fills reach their limits, bonded fills can help.

With the fermacell™ Bound Filling T, James Hardie now has a new product in its portfolio for quick, high-quality leveling of floors. More about the benefits.

Damage to floors is often so extensive that the affected rooms and apartments can only be fully used again after thorough floor renovation. Dry screeds have proven their worth here. Slim floor constructions combine high resilience with good impact sound and heat insulation as well as reliable fire protection and have a stable and pressure-resistant surface with a low surface weight. In addition, there is a significant reduction in construction times: the final floor coverings can be applied to modern dry screed constructions just one day after laying.

However, a prerequisite for the successful use of dry screeds is a completely level subsurface, which can be easily created with a self-leveling floor leveling compound or a leveling fill. Depending on the type of fill, impact sound, heat and fire protection requirements can be met at the same time. However, it becomes problematic if very high heights have to be bridged, for example with vaulted ceilings. Because the standard leveling compounds available on the market are only suitable for leveling out minor unevenness of up to around 20 mm. And with height differences of more than 60 mm, most leveling fills reach their limits.

Innovative product features
for the professional:

Exact and flat surfaces
For flush height adjustment of installations (no pipe covering required)
Bonded leveling layer for floor structures
HBCD free

One solution is offered by the fermacell™ Bonded Fill T, which supplements the range of fermacell™ fill systems for level and height compensation. It is already suitable for reduced bulk heights from 10 mm up to a maximum height of 2000 mm and consists of recycled foam plastic and a cement-based binder.

In addition to good thermal insulation, the foam plastic ensures a low weight. In addition, the fermacellTM Bound Filling T is excellently suited to effectively leveling installations on raw ceilings to ensure a full-surface support. Thanks to the quick setting process, the fermacell™ Bonded Filling T can be walked on after 12 hours and can be covered after just 24 hours. At the same time, the cement-based binder prevents the fill from settling. In addition, there is a high insensitivity to water, which makes it possible to use it in wet areas. The material is non-combustible and corresponds to building material class A2-s1, d0. Furthermore, it is non-rotting and vermin-proof as well as silicone, HBCD and biocide-free. The shelf life has been optimized, the product can be stored for 12 months.

The handling of the fermacell™ Bonded Fill T is easy and does not differ significantly from the processing of conventional fills.
