In November, the “Society for International Cooperation” GIZ in India organized a second study trip to North Rhine-Westphalia for 20 people. Among those invited were two undersecretaries of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, representatives of the National Housing Bank, as well as the vice presidents of the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) and the directors of the National Building Construction Corporation (NBCC).
As with the first trip, this tour was also about the systems for energy-efficient building that have been successfully established in Germany according to the EnEV and passive house standard, as well as the presentation of some construction projects that have been carried out accordingly. Furthermore, the resulting opportunities for various professional groups and the local construction supply industry should be communicated.
